This page is the reference for how to manage the Patches page.
Details
Whenever Mabinogi receives a content update, usually Nexon will release patch notes alongside it. These patch notes require to be archived on the Wiki as well.
Patch notes was split by Chapters, as the page would be unmanageable were all of the information put in a single place. Thus, the main landing page should only be a directory to its Sub-Pages, sorted by the current Chapter they were released in.
What is a Game Patch
- New Content, like a new dungeon or mission;
- Major updates, like the Renovation series.
What isn't a Game Patch
- Sales
- Gachapons
- Events
- Mabinogi NA website changes
- Out of game content, like streams, real-life events, etc.
All of these things are more fitting to be mentioned in the News and have a page about it.
Templates Required
Framework
As Chapters tend to last a long while, simply look at previous patches pages and keep the same framework.
- Make sure to add the link to the Patch Notes at the top of the section you are adding, inside the template.
- When porting over the patch notes to the Patches page, make the information concise and to-the-point.
